Preschool

After being at another preschool, this one has been a night and day difference. My son used to hate going to school and was sad every day, now with the love and support from Mrs Jones and Mrs P, he is loving his time at preschool. Learning our ABC’s and practicing writing our name was such a struggle before we enrolled in bright beginnings, now he is learning because he wants to! If you are searching for quality preschool, stop looking because this is it!

Our family came to Bright Beginnings in large part because we wanted a preschool with small class sizes and a school schedule that followed the public school district rather than the local college or Christian academy. The teachers in this program have so much experience as parents and educators. I appreciate their commitment to student learning and their ability to take preschool behavior in stride. Academically, my child has made great gains during his first year in this program, but perhaps more importantly, he loves to go to school. Bright Beginnings fosters in children a love of God and a love of learning.

As I have my degree in Early Childhood Education I took my role of finding the perfect preschool for our family very seriously! I searched for about a year with no such luck, none of them just felt “right.” I stumbled upon “Bright Beginnings” and I was a little unsure at first because I knew that it was going to be their first year and I know that can come with a lot of ups and downs. But I decided to seek out more information. They answered the FIRST time I called and immediately sent out an informational packet. Which included an “all about me” page… they wanted to truly know who my child was and what he was like. Out of all of the preschools I contacted and toured this was a first. I knew in that moment this was the absolute best decision I could make for my little 3 year old and start his long journey of education as a positive first experience. I finally had that “right” feeling. 

6 months into the school year and I could not be more pleased. My son has learned so much and absolutely loves going to school. He actually runs right in, which has been a huge relief because he had never gone to daycare and only has been watched by close family members! That right there shows that his teachers, Mrs. Jones and Mrs. P, are providing a fun, loving, and safe environment for my child to learn in. 

We are sending our first son to PreK and our middle son to Preschool next fall at Bright Beginnings and it’s such an amazing feeling knowing they will be in the best hands. ♥️✝️

This year was my daughter’s first year in any classroom setting. She had never been in daycare so I was slightly worried how she would adjust. Mrs. Jones and Mrs. P made the transition wonderfully smooth. From the very beginning, at the open house they came around to each child to introduce themselves and I believe that made my daughter feel much more confident for the first day of Pre-k. Only a few weeks in I could see such improvement. She was getting excited to learn  and to show off all her skills, like counting to high numbers and writing her name. I am extremely grateful for Mrs. Jones and Mrs. P, they have shown Charlotte what a good teacher should be. They are very attentive, charismatic and encouraging. They have holiday parties, set up field trips and more. The school is very secure and the classroom itself is locked from the rest of the church. Security was something that was really important to me when I was searching for a school. I can’t recommend this program enough for your little ones. You won’t regret it! 

My daughter has the privilege of going to Bright Beginnings for Pre kindergarten and what an absolute blessing it has been. She has grown so much, both educationally and as a person. We didn’t do preschool so this was my child’s first time in a classroom setting and admittedly I was apprehensive letting her go. She’s never stayed with anyone outside of family since she’s been born. But as it turns out, that statement still holds true because that’s exactly what Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Polkabla have become, family. They have created such a warm and welcoming classroom, and have genuine interest in every child in their class. My daughter looks forward to school so much that she cried due to a snow day cancellation. What they are doing in this program is special and I will always be grateful they laid the foundation for my daughter’s education.
